Double Checking

Just making sure I am addressing everything needed for my project.
My question is in regards to communication. I want to know if I can use technology to better communicate with my customers (NESS Liaisons, New Educators, Educators, School administration & Staff, Peers)
To narrow down my particular "issue" of the week, I plan to do a follow survey to a sample of my NESS Liaisons (same I sent a written survey, with written directions) , using some type of technology. Exactly what, still undecided, video, podcast,garage band., blogs, Quia,...
I did the original survey as the data for my PGP an communication with my clients and a better understanding of site base induction.
I still need to become familiar with the various products, technology out there that would increase my level of communication.
Hopefully this make some sense?
Every time I go to a site, listen to another podcast, attend another workshop, or just talk to my peers, I can think of a million ways to do this, now I just need to try some of my ideas out!

Changed my focus, again!

I can't believe it, but I have another idea that I need to focus my efforts!
I sent out a survey to some 0f my NESS Liaisons . I sent the NESS Rubric which has been used, I have gone over the completion of the Rubric with them, and I sent simplified directions for completion of the Rubric. Yet,I was surprised by the lack of understanding on how to complete the Rubric. Not that I should be surprised, since it took me two years to truley "get it"!
Now I am wondering, could I use a podcast to explain the directions? Are podcasts we make dual platform? That is todays' question, who knows what tomorrow brings!

New Week!

Hopefully all had a great weekend! I am wishing or hoping that a video camera will come available so I can start taking some videos of my teachers. I also would like to film some teaching strategies for my teachers, I have some grand ideas, we will see..................

iMovies

I attended the iMovies workshop today. It was very exciting and I have a lot of ideas, but will have difficulties since I use a PC for most of my work. I am usually in schools and don't have access to a MAC. I do have a mac lap top, but I can't get it connected to the internet, I was just happy I could get CAB! Now I will be more persistent to get internet access, too!
I guess my next workshop will be garage bands, and hopefully use of a video camera.
I would LOVE to share best teaching practices with my new educators!

Question & Data

After thinking about everything and talking to others, I need to narrow down my question. My question is will videos/podcasts be useful to my clients? (new educators, Liaisons, teachers)
I will begin to survey my teachers when I visit them and keep a running record. I don't want to send them a survey in the pony or e-mail, because everyone is feeling the crunch of too much, too many e-mails, too many requests, just too many. I want this to be as customer friendly as possible.

I think I am going to focus on how would a podcast assist my new educators , NESS Liaisons, and Instuctional Coaches.

Constantly Rethinking!!!

I am constantly rethinking how I will use this technology with my customers! I was at a school today and thought "OH, this whole project should be on video and edited for a variety of customers." For example, how one school wrote a grant and is documenting what they are doing, how teachers are learning to increase their level of effectiveness in their classroom, with little effort!!!,How to do pre and post conferences, front loading teachers, on and on and on................
Perhaps I was high on caffeine!!!

Looking forward to a new week!

I am looking forward to a new week, to gather my thoughts regarding my involement with technology and my clients. I am very over my head! I hardly have time to do my paper and pencil work, much less actually involved in making videos! I do want to make this a goal.

Anyone know why the time that shows up when I post a comment, is not the correct time? And yes my computer clock is set correctly! It is 6:38PM, Saturday, September 23rd!

Hard Time responding to others?

Am I the only one having problems reponding to others? I can get on to my blog, but the others in our group, I get the response that I did not use the correct sign in, which is the same one I used to get on to this page?
I will probably be the first person asked to leave a learning community!!!!

• movies and my clients?
• how will video taping my NE assist them?
• will modeling strategies on video really assist my new educators
• will they assist the IC's working with their NE's

Thanks to Tanya, I finally figured out to write my next journal. I am worried I will never have the time to do all of this justice, but baby steps!!!!
Can't wait till I complete imovies. Hopefully I will be able to check out a video camera and begin my movies!
